Oxfordshire Tour

I'm planning a short bicycle tour of Oxfordshire* (and surrounding area) - Monday 13 September - Friday 18 September 2021 - start & finish at The Red Lion and then overnight stops at (provisionally) Burford, Didcot, Princes Risborough, Deddington/Banbury.     This is pretty much a reprise of the club tour that Jon Porteous led in 2011.   

The riding is pleasant with nothing too arduous in terms of terrain, maximum of about 55 miles per day, and some interesting sights along the way - as well as good company  AND the experience of the Brown Purse . . . .

At the moment we have 8 confirmed participants (about 12 would be the maximum) - if you are interested either WhatsApp or email me and I can give you more details.    Given the fluid situation I would need firm expressions of interest before mid-May - accommodation bookings would be made on the basis of easy cancellation (of the whole trip), if necessary, on 1 September - and in everyone's interest all members should have had both Covid jabs.

*This tour is really "NOT ?? France 2021" - as many will know I have organised eight overseas tours for club members since 2012 - last year the plan was thwarted and this year doesn't look much better - hence the home country plan with no travel/transport arrangements BUT doubtless slightly higher accommodation costs.
