Generally a very pleasant day for cycling. 16 of us set off towards Chaddersley Corbett: all went smoothly on the outward journey, via Alvechurch and skirting south of Bromsgrove to the Swan (the Bathams and cobs were still up to scratch).
The return journey was quite the opposite ... miles of fresh chip and seal, 2 diversions (more chip and seal laying). All points worthily gained by the captain on the outwards journey were lost on the return journey leaving the net total in the red (note to self: must do better).
