To all those who arrived at 09.30 expecting me to lead them around the intro/ casual ride .... I am truly sorry I thought the start time was 10.00. Not surprisingly there was nobody there to lead when I arrived. I decided to do the ride anyway as the day seemed to be improving and the Tapster Valley is one of the nicest lanes to dawdle along. Unfortunately the cafe at Shrewley Tunnel Fisheries was closed so I carried on to Hatton Locks for teacake and tea. Then home via Beausale, 2 detours because of closed roads, an uneccessary loop around Haywood and Rowington. 41 miles for me. To anyone let down by my disorganisation, sorry, hope you managed to have a good ride

Peter Guest No worries Tim - I was the only one there at 930 but I had downloaded the route and did it anyway with you as a virtual guide! Big slice of Bakewell at Hatton country Park😋
