Four of us set off from Earlswood today in the expectation of a trip to Kenilworth. We weren't too concerned at Berkswell but when we turned north to Meriden and then continued north some of started to look forward to a pint at Ridge Lane instead. Suddenly though we were heading south through Pickford Green and, before we knew it, it was Time for Tea (cakes). We then took a more conventional route via Beausale back to Lapworth where we enjoyed the remainder of the afternoon in the canal-side garden before making our way back to Earlswood.
