Pothole Problems
« on: 28 January 2017, 15:23 »
Clive and Joan were two of the 'early finishers' on Wednesday 4 December 2016. As they had time to spare in daylight they decided to report some potholes that they had to contend with every Wednesday morning on the way to the Red Lion. They are on Norton Lane, Earlswood. They used the Fill That Hole app, provided by Cycling UK.
Reports have now been sent by Cycling UK to Solihull Council. They're wondering how long it will take for these holes to be filled ...
Does anyone else have experience of reporting potholes?

I reported some hazardous holes on 20th Jan, just inside the Birmingham border. They were fixed by approx 10th Feb. The report hasn't been updated to say it's fixed so I'm not sure that it was fixed in response to my report but, given holes 50 meters away weren't touched, I assume that it wasn't planned routine maintenance.

I don't recall having to avoid anything too bad on Norton Lane on the way to the Red Lion on Sunday so maybe they've also been fixed.
