Garmin users ... add name etc to Home screen

I saw this "undocumented feature" for Garmin GPS gadgets :

- it's for the 510 but worked with my Edge Touring - seems like a useful feature if you lose the machine.  I put name, postcode, phone + ICE in mine.

I did this a few years ago my name and phone number appears on the splash screen.
