Two of us followed Captain Guy into a stiff wind on the Sunday run, which took a slightly adjusted root wandering around Bromsgrove and up to Chaddersley Corbett before arriving at the Anchor at Caunsall, via a very suspect bridle path, for lunch. The pub as usual was busy but Guy managed to get a table and order the beer and a round of the famous cheese cobs almost immediately. Lunch over we continued into the wind for a while, before turning east into a short hail shower, the captain again decided to modify the route home missing out the ascent of St. Kenelm's Pass much to our relief. Finally rejecting the Rowney Green loop we arrived at the Coach just in time to miss the snow showers. An enjoyable but cold and testing ride 60 miles for me.
