08aug18 Wyre Piddle. Guy (capt)
5 of set of in to a noticeable headwind on an otherwise perfect day. We took the trade route out to Alvechurch, via Weatheroak hill, and then on to the Anchor at Wyre Piddle via Tardebigge, Feckenham and Flyford Flavell. Due to unfortunate Sat Nav issues Guy missed a loop and we arrived at the pub at 11.55, there were no protests from the peleton and so we waited. Soon after 12.00 we were sat on a sunny terrace overlooking the river and joined by Andy. As we were finishing our sandwiches and chips the previously bright skies darkened and a wise group decision was made to cut the lunch break early and head for home before the storm broke. We returned via Bishampton, Inkberrow and the Bus Route back to the Coach. We had just sat down to our well deserved beers when the rain started and we watched in comfort from the bar ... I love it when a plan works out. 61 miles for me
