Some who knew Jonathan may not yet know, but last night we received the shocking news of his sudden passing, aged just 63. Jonathan was a Southern Section regular until a few years ago and in his younger life was an excellent time trialist. He will be best remembered by his cycling friends for his kind generosity and humour. Our thoughts are with Jonathan’s wife, Ruth and his wider family and friends at this sad time.

Here are the details of Jon’s funeral, provided by Rob Bishop:
 
It will take place on Wednesday 13th July at 12.30 in St Laurence church Northfield,
followed by the committal in the crematorium at Lodge Hill cemetery,
and afterwards at The Old Rose and Crown Hotel, Rose Hill Rednal.
It will be family flowers only, with donations if desired to Cancer Research on the day
