09 may 21   Sunday All day ride to Chaddersley Corbett
What a surprise! we met in Warm sunshine under a blue sky and the 6 of us set off to the 'Swan' at Chaddersley Corbett, via Sambourne, Astwood Bank, Feckingham and Harbury  (where a roadside 11's was taken again in warm sunshine), then on to Wychbold, Cutnall Green and the Swan.
A couple of pints of Bathams and cheese cob later we returned via the standard route through Catshill and Barnt Green.
This was not the Captains planned route but the 3 remaining in the peleton MUTINIED and, led by Ruth, refused to consider the NCR 5, Rea valley route or the NCR 55, the Worcester canal and Iknield Street, using the poor excuse that it would be to busy and that the tow path was to narrow for the tandem. The Captain sulked for at least 10 mins until Mike generously bought him a pint.
The ride ended at the Coach and Horses,  50 miles for me
