While two of our members were running around Solihull as quickly as they could in yesterday's half Marathon, Captain Archer took special care to get the Casual/Intro ride around the road closures.....well done to Keith and Linda BTW both getting 1st in their age category!
Eight turned up for the cycling, a slightly chilly but gentle 22 mile loop ride to try out a new coffee stop at the Kings Arms, Heronfield. No cakes but you can get breakfast, tea and coffee from 8 am in what is a very pleasant and quiet environment.
The only issue was reported by those ladies who visited the loo. Apparently, on the back of the cubicle door was a picture that some said was very off-putting
