Seven turned out for Saturdays ride and after some discussion it was decided to ride towards Wellesbourne until it rained and then divert to the nearest café or pub. We set off through Ullenhall, (where even the dog could not be bothered to bark) and despite several short drizzles we did not stop to don waterproofs. On through Little Alne and Bearley Cross, where we blamed Shakespeare for it taking forever to get across the A3400. At the top of the hill in Snitterfield the decision was made to go to Black Hill to avoid future soakings. It was then the trade route back to the Fleur at Lowsonford where the weather had improved so much we were able to sit outside and enjoy a post ride drink. 45 miles for me.
