Mike & Ruth were the only others to join me for yesterday's all day ride to the Bakers Arms at Broad Campden.
Going under Longbridge island we encountered three young chaps with bike trouble. We stopped to help as best we could before setting off again. Half a mile later Mike had to do a U-turn and pick up the stoker he had left behind, needless to say Ruth wasn't amused!!
The route via Kineton and Shipston on Stour provided gentle hills; which Ruth did approve of
The pub was 'fully booked' but they managed to fit us in. Good news as the food and beer were good value for the Cotswolds.
A more direct route back and at the Coach and Horses by 16.45.......where, as per usual on a cold day, we met the other seven members who had decided to have a lie-in. 89 miles.
